No Ticket = No Tryout
Beginning with the 2017 Fall Sports Season, all Carrboro High School students interested in trying out for Sports must complete the “Ticket to Play” process before trying out for any sports team. This new process enables the Athletic Department to collect all paperwork from students prior to tryouts. Additionally, the “Ticket to Play” will include a preliminary eligibility check by the Athletic Director on the following requirements such as but not limited to: age, grades, address, etc.
Requirements for Ticket to Play:
1. Online Registration Complete – carrborojaguars.com
2. Completed Physical Exam on the NCHSAA Pre-participation Form
3. Completed Concussion Form
Ticket to Play Dates will be held at CHS in the Athletic Director’s office (A Wing):
July 20 & 21: 9am-12pm
July 24, 25: 9am-1pm
July 26: 9am-1pm; 6:30pm-8:00pm
July 31: By Appt.
Students must give the “Ticket” to the Head Coach of the sport they want to tryout for during the first day of tryouts.
A Ticket to Play is required for each season. Multiple Sport Athletes must complete the process and submit a Ticket each sport season.
It is the Parent(s) and Athlete’s RESPONSIBILITY to have all forms completed. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
