It took the Jags some time to get into the groove in the first half vs NCSSM. When they finally found their rhythm, they were able to score two goals before the end of the first half, thanks to Reese Jahoo (Sophomore) and Kevin O’Donnell (Junior).
During the second half, the Jaguar offense really put pressure on the defense of North Carolina School of Science and Math by staying further up the field, which resulted in a goal from Nick and another goal from Reese.
With five minutes left til the final whistle, NCSSM scored a goal to end the game with Carrboro winning, 4-1.
Our pick for the MVP during this game was Nick because of his amazing work rate while playing striker that created many opportunities for his teammates and ultimately scored a goal of his own for the Jags in their second conference game of the season.
